About the role

PeopleSource Solutions is recruiting an experienced Plant Manager for a full-time, on-site manufacturing role located in Woonsocket, RI. In this position, you will serve as the primary onsite contact person responsible for leading all aspects of manufacturing operations, including reliability of vacuum systems, chillers, and production equipment. You will drive safety enhancements, energy reduction initiatives, and equipment modernization efforts in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on industrial background and proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.

Key responsibilities

You will maintain and improve the reliability of vacuum systems and chillers while overseeing PLC and controls upgrades, safety enhancements, and energy reduction initiatives. You will prioritize maintenance activities, respond to downtime issues, and lead root cause analysis efforts to eliminate repeat failures. You will support operational meetings and plant objectives while managing production equipment replacement and modernization projects. You will maintain and upgrade ISO 9001:2015 certification as required by the standard and submit required reports including a weekly update and a Monthly Comment Report.

Required skills

This role requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience. You must have the ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, along with PLC troubleshooting experience. Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard Management is required, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You must also be able to lead, motivate, and develop others effectively.

Experience required

3-5 years hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience; Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or Engineering Technology preferred; equivalent military or technical experience considered

Preferred qualifications

An Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred for this position. Equivalent military or technical experience will be considered in place of formal education. Candidates with direct PLC and controls upgrade experience in an industrial manufacturing setting will stand out.
